This practitioner session was a big hit last year in San Francisco, so we will use the same format to wrap-up this year’s conference. | Walid is the Business Excellence Manager at Nestlé driving the strategy for Nestlé group in the area of Data Excellence. His main domains are Data quality, Data conversion, Meta data and master data management.(Frameworks and KPIs definition and design) He is ITIL, PMI certified and more than 11 years of service oriented experience in managing projects, teams, and initiatives related to business data excellence. His specialization is in business intelligence, data quality, data modeling, and data architecture type of initiatives. He is a lecturer on “Data modeling”, “computational linguistics” subjects and PhD students’ Director at Université de Franche-Comté, Besançon, France. Active member of the research centre in computer science and language science Lucien Tesnière (CNRS France) responsible for conferences and seminars at national and international levels. Member of the European experts’ database responsible for the expertise of European projects in the domain of information management, Natural language processing and artificial intelligence. Lynda Heij is the Manager of Data Quality at DTE Energy in Detroit, Michigan. Lynda manages a team of quality professionals responsible for the information quality of the Regulated Utilities' Customer Service Organization. Before starting her 8 year career at DTE Energy, Lynda worked in the consulting industry in Canada and USA . The projects consisted of web-based application development projects at companies such as NCompass Labs, Health Alliance Plan and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Lynda graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Honors Bachelor of Mathematics and Business Administration. Brenda has been in the Data Quality Profession for 20 years, primarily in retail and/or marketing organizations. In her current position as a Business Data Quality Manager, Brenda and her team are responsible for all aspects of Data Quality for Target’s guest data warehouse, including data monitors, trend analysis, UAT for development and enhancement projects, troubleshooting, metadata, data profiling and data discovery, and data communication. For five years, Richard has lead Avaya’s Data Quality Center of Excellence which is chartered with establishing and sustaining optimal levels of integrity for Avaya’s critical data assets. To date, Avaya has realized more than $75 Million in business benefits through improved data quality. Richard is a charter member of IAIDQ. |
