Healthcare Interoperability: Creating the Data Bridges
“Governing and implementing data sharing across functional, agency, enterprise, Federal, state, and local boundaries” is the theme for this conference and for the future of healthcare.
The presenter has come to healthcare via Defense contracting, manufacturing and transportation. What will inhibit the healthcare sector from realizing the data management and portability benefits already obtained in the other sectors?
This presentation seeks to do “level-setting” by developing some common perspective on the issues and solution paths. The presenter has been inside healthcare, first at the Mayo Clinic and now at a much smaller clinic/hospital delivery organization. Observations and analyses developed over 12 years are summarized here in 60 minutes. |
