Canvassing the entire DQ industry, DLIS developed strategic and tactical plans for repeatable processes, quality assurance, and executive DQ metrics... resulting in measurable improvement in the Defense Logistics Agency's enterprise resource planning transformation for almost $30 billion in annual sales. The global leader in cataloging, DLIS is at the fore of developing ISO 8000 and taking data quality to ever higher levels. This presentation will focus on:

- Establishing a data quality methodology for logistics data
- Ensuing management support
- Participation in the development of a data quality standard ISO 8000

Speaker Bio
Elaine Chapman has worked for the Defense Logistics Information Service for 21 years. Currently, she is the Chief of the Data Integrity Branch. Under her supervision, her team has developed a robust data quality plan and modernized the tracking system to support the initiative. They are currently working on an initiative with industry to develop an international standard for data quality.
