Thursday 11:00am - 12:00pm
Conference Session
Level: All Levels

Organizations that rely on an efficient supply chain, from manufacture and sourcing to the order to cash process or logistics have always been cognoscente to the impact of poor data quality on the supply chain. A data error can result in a key customer’s order being stopped due to a credit process, or a delivery being refused because it turned up at the wrong time. As large organizations strive to make their supply chain more efficient and effective, while maintaining 100% customer satisfaction, having a sound Data Quality Strategy where the business owners have visibility of and are accountable for Data Quality issues is a prerequisite to minimizing the number of defects caused by poor data. This requires, not just a one off exercise but a sustained process to audit and monitor data quality through the supply chain, by the people who truly understand the data, and all types of Data; from Customers, Vendors, and Ship to addresses to parts, materials and finished goods to product hierarchies, HR and Financials

This session will explore:
-A framework for ongoing Data Quality management
-An automated approach to data accuracy with a transparent audit trail
-Automating data quality results and taking corrective action
