This presentation discusses StorageTek (now part of Sun Microsystems) experience in developing a CDI solution that leverages their Corporate Information Factory (CIF). The CDI solution includes a 360 degree view of business entities that meets growing Customer expectation that StorageTek have one view of them and for StorageTek to have a view of the companies it has business relationships in order to identify and act upon business opportunities. The discussion will include:

- Data Cleansing - Creating uniform data from disparate systems and sources
- Creating best records

Speaker Bio
Jeff Monica has held a number of positions in his eight years at Sun Microsystems. He started out in the business as a program manager for product development. He then moving to Global Services as a program manager and then to Global information Systems to head up the Corporate Information Factory’s data quality team. Currently, as manager of the Corporate Information Factory he is responsible for leading a team to maintain and improve the data warehouse and ensure customer reporting requirements are met.
