This presentation details eight specific business areas that you can use to build a business case for data governance: capital cost avoidance, compliance & risk management, customer experience, employee morale, revenue assurance, productivity gains, supply chain optimization and distribution chain management. The presentation will include actual examples of measurable benefits realized in each of these areas from a variety of customer implementations. Finally, it will outline an action-oriented, "start-small" approach to building insight, buy-in and collaboration among the business managers who control data creation and the knowledge workers who rely upon that data to drive decisions.

Speaker Bio
Filip Sanna recently joined Trillium Software as Director of Product Solutions where he is responsible for developing solutions built upon Trillium’s software platform and targeted at specific business applications such as compliance, anti-fraud systems and master data management. Previously, Sanna worked for fifteen years as a consultant and manager in the data warehousing/ BI industry.
