Wilshire
Conferences and TDAN.com are pleased to announce that submissions
are invited for the 2008
"Wilshire Award" honoring best practices in metadata management.
The award is given to the practitioners within a customer organization
(ie. corporation, government agency or non-profit, as opposed to
a product or service vendor) in recognition of the business value
and technical excellence they have achieved in the design and implementation
of an outstanding metadata program.
Each submission is judged on the following criteria:
- Sponsorship, planning and framework
- Business requirements and meta-data selection/taxonomy
- Architecture-integration and change management
- People-program team and meta-data users
- Measurements-program and success stories
* Complete details and nomination requirements are set forth in
the "Call for Submissions" (CFS) available at http://www.wilshireconferences.com/MD2008/submission_requirements
* Nominations will be received until May 31, 2008.
The first round of judging will be completed and the
finalists will go through a second round of assessment. Results are
expected by mid-July 2008.
