Nordea, the largest bank in Scandinavia has for several years focused on Master Data Management. After several mergers information quality and consistency are major challenges. One of the most challenging areas has been to establish the right implementation strategy on Customer Master Data. The strategy must on one hand contribute to the high demands coming from the markets and customers; on the other hand it must contribute to the high demands coming from within the company. Jørgen Steines:
Jørgen Steines is one of Platon’s lead consultants on strategic advisory within the areas of Information Management, Business Integration and Business Intelligence. Jørgen is the Vice President of Platon’s Information Management Advisory division. Jørgen has worked for Nordea for the last two years as the project manager on Nordea’s Master Data management project and carries more than 10 years of industry experience. Jeanette Møller: Jeanette Møller holds a Masters Degree in Management Accounting. Jeanette has been working with Information Management for the last 6 years. She joined Nordea in 1997 starting out working in the Finance Department. Jeanette has since then had a number of different positions from Finance IT Manager to Head of Finance Systems, Development & Master Data to Program Manager for the Nordea Information Management Program. Currently Jeanette Møller is Nordea’s senior Master Data Program Manager and carries the responsibility for all Nordea’s Master Data initiatives. |
