This session will begin by comparing and contrasting
data governance and master data management and end with a demonstration
of how applying data governance principles and standards, enables attaining
the goals of master data management. This will be accomplished through
a comparison of two case studies, whereby the companies have actively
engaged in data governance and master data management initiatives for
over 3 years.
As a Management Consultant Ms. Dember has over 20 years
experience in information technology. With 5+ years in executive management
of privately held firms and 15 years in leadership roles in numerous
Fortune 500 and 100 industries/businesses, Ms. Dember has a proven track
record of meeting milestones, functionality, and dates. She has excellent
oral/written communication and interpersonal skills which include the
ability to work with little direct supervision, strong organizational
skills, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Her major accomplishments have been focused in the areas of Business
Intelligence, Executive and Financial Dashboards and Automated Scorecard
