The Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
is for the experienced data professional who have the knowledge to succeed,
but desire evidence of their level of expertise and continuing professional
development.
DAMA has been collaborating with the ICCP to develop vendor and product neutral data exams for this certification program. Available data exams include Data Management, DBA, Data Warehousing, and Business Analytics/Business Intelligence & DSS (in-process). The CDMP credential is awarded to those who qualify based on a combination of criteria including education, experience and test-based examination of professional level knowledge. This credential is offered at the Mastery or Practitioner level. This presentation covers:
Patricia Cupoli, CCP, CDMP, CBIP, is the DAMA International
ICCP Liaison, the Project Manager for the Data Exams Development, ICCP
Board President, and a past president of DAMA International, DAMA Chicago,
and DAMA Philadelphia / Delaware Valley.
Pat is currently an Information Architect for a large financial company. She has over twenty years of IT professional experience, concentrating in the areas of Data Management, Data Warehousing, Metadata Solutions and Repositories, Enterprise Modeling (business process and data) for Business Re-engineering, Project Management, IT Strategic Planning, IT Course Development and Training, and Librarianship / Information Science. She has presented at many DAMA and TDWI conferences, published professionally, and is the recipient of the 2006 DAMA International Professional Award. |
