This presentation discusses key aspects of a data management organization or DMO. It presents ideas on organizational structure, and roles and responsibilities within a DMO. Guidelines are provided to help assure success and finally the presentation points out what DMO managers should avoid.

Alex Kerezy has been focused on data and information management throughout his professional career. He helped design one of the largest data warehouses of geriatric pharmaceutical data in the U.S. He has been involved in systems integration in the areas of defense, insurance and investment systems. Alex is involved with the Central Ohio Chapter of DAMA and speaks on various data management topics with a focus on integration and management.
