Thursday 11:00am - 12:00pm

Level: Basic/Introductory

Almost two decades ago professionals in the Data Management industry started discussing the concept that data was an asset of the enterprise. Today, business professionals believe that concept as self-evident. Ask any business or technical “C” level executive if data is an asset, and the answer you are likely to hear may be “Yes, our data is a strategic asset and critical to our competitive advantage”. Then ask how that asset is valued and quality managed, or what quality metrics for the data assets are reported. This seminar represents a case study recently done with a larger media company.

The seminar will include discussion on:

  • How data was determined as “valuable to measure”
  • Tailoring quality metrics reporting for differing audiences
  • Establishing the Metrics and Quality Program
